Opening Celebration
Children gather to connect with other Friends through fun games. Together, everyone joins in singing and praising God.
Connecting God's Word to the learner's real world moves learning beyond information to a growing relationship with Jesus that transforms lives. Students understand that Jesus isn't someone who lived years ago, but is alive today and wants to be a part of their lives.
Small Groups
Kids do everything with their groups consisting of children by grade and an adult leader and assistant leader. Because everyone stays together, small groups ensure friendship connections and personal attention.
During small group time groups will go through the "Discipleship Junction" each week. Groups will start by boarding the train for the "Bible Truth," an interactive Bible lesson. From there groups will make stops at the Bible memory waypoint which incorporates movement, rhythm, and role-play to make it easy for kids to hide God's Word in their hearts (Psalms 119:11). Next is the prayer station where children will explore and practice new prayer skills. Groups will end their night with a final fun activity and "On the Fast Track!" take-home activity sheets.
