November 16 - Donation Station Workday - Join the Women of Faith as we support another Christian Ministry by doing a bit of cleaning and organizing at the Donation Station, a local thrift store which provides clothes and other items to needy families for free, or for a very nominal charge. We will meet at Faith at 9:45am and carpool to the store. Bring a bagged lunch! We will be finished around 1:00pm.
December 7 - Arts and Crafts Show - This is the third year that the Women of Faith, led by talented artist, Robyn Gray, has presented this incredible market of fine arts and crafts. It is held in the Family Life Center 9am to 2:30pm. Bring your friends and do some Christmas shopping! All proceeds benefit the Deacon's Fund.
December 9 - Women of Faith tackle the Webster Flea Market! A true Florida tradition, the Monday only Webster Flea market is always a fun place to explore! Join the Women of Faith for a day of fun and fellowship as we hunt for bargains and enjoy each other's company!
And after the Holidays, Women of Faith will offer more Bible Study opportunities, as well as other fun events - including the first ever WOF/WOF (Women of Faith/Walk of Faith) - a fundraiser for Mary's House, the local women's homeless shelter.
All Women of Faith activities are open to ALL of the women here at Faith Church. We hope that you'll participate and that you'll bring a friend! These activities are a great way to reach out and share the love of Christ with others!

About Fiddler on the Roof
Fiddler on the Roof is based on the short story Tevye and His Daughters by Sholem Aleichem. Fiddler on the Roof is one of the first musicals to defy Broadway’s established rules of commercial success. It dealt with serious issues such as persecution, poverty, and the struggles to hold onto one’s beliefs in the midst of a hostile and chaotic environment. Criticized at first for its limited appeal, Fiddler on the Roof struck such a universal chord in audiences that it became, for a time, the longest running production in the history of Broadway. It ran for 3,242 performances at the Imperial Theatre and opened the door for other musicals that deal with serious issues (such as Les Miserables).
Set in 1905 the story takes place in Anetevka, a small Jewish village in Russia. The story revolves around the dairyman Tevye and his attempts to preserve his family’s traditions in the face of a changing world. When his eldest daughter Tzeitel, begs him to let her marry a poor tailor rather than the middle-aged butcher that he has already chosen for her, Tevye must choose between his own daughter’s happiness and those beloved traditions that keep the outside world at bay. Meanwhile, there are other forces at work in Anetevka – dangerous forces that threaten to destroy the very life he is trying to preserve.
