What is an elder? Perhaps you already knew that the word "Presbyterian" comes from the Greek word "presbuterion" which means elder! For Reformed churches like ours, congregations are organized under the leadership of a handful of godly men. In the New Testament, a team of elders was commissioned to lead each church (see Acts 14:23 and Titus 1:5).
